In the summer of 1832, thirteen-year-old schoolgirl Charlotte Doyle is the only passenger on a transatlantic journey from Liverpool, England, to Providence, Rhode Island, when the ship’s crew mutinies, and Charlotte must decide whether to side with the captain or the rebellious crew.
